Oman asked Canada to bat, and Cheema got them off to a fast start with two boundaries in a first over that yielded 16 runs. Rain halted play again in the third over, with Canada 24\/0. This resulted in a further reduction to 13 overs. Cheema (16) was caught shortly after the restart but Nitish Kumar made an excellent 52 from 25 balls, and with support from Dhaliwal (28*0 took Canada to 133\/3 from their overs.<br \/>\nthis proved inadequate as Oman raced to a 7 wicket victory.
