The third instalment of Cricket Alberta’s T20 Super Bash will take place in Edmonton at picturesque\u00a0Millwoods Cricket Ground<\/a>,\u00a0August 1st – 3rd. \u00a0The annual competition pits franchise style teams made up local representative players, a handful of Canadian national team members, and a few select overseas players.<\/p>\n

In past years national team members Henry Osinde<\/a>, Rizwan Cheema<\/a>, Hiral Patel<\/a>, Hamza Tariq<\/a>\u00a0and Ruvindu Gunasekera<\/a> have all taken part, with overseas players including Netherlands allrounder Mudassar Bukhari<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year’s competition will see an expansion to six teams: Calgary Fire<\/a>, Calgary Thunder<\/a>, Calgary Renegades<\/a>, and\u00a0Edmonton Bashers<\/a>, along with debutant franchises from\u00a0Vancouver and Saskatchewan. \u00a0Confirmed players include:\u00a0Hamza Tariq<\/a>, Sudeepta Aurka<\/a>, Nikhil Dutta<\/a>, Junaid Siddiqui<\/a>, Srimantha Wijeratne<\/a>, Tahir Mughal<\/a>, Indika Senaratne<\/a>, Dhanuka Pathirana<\/a>, Bipul Sharma<\/a>, Manpreet Gony<\/a>, Farhan Malik<\/a> and Khurram Chohan<\/a>.<\/p>\n
