The City of Mississauga’s Sports Council honoured Mississauga Ramblers in celebration of its 50th Anniversary last week at the 42nd Annual Mississauga Sports Dinner.<\/p>\n

John Sugrim was recognized with the Outstanding Contribution to Community Sports Award and Dr. Geoff Edwards was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame as a sport builder. Sandeep Jyoti was a guest of honour at the head table.<\/p>\n

Roy Supaul, President of Mississauga Ramblers, accepted the 50th anniversary award. In his remarks, Roy stated: “I am humbly accepting this 50th anniversary award on behalf of all past and present members and executives who have worked tirelessly to sustain Mississauga Ramblers Cricket, Sports and Cultural Club. I sincerely hope we can continue for another 50 years and beyond.”<\/p>\n
