Alberta U19s beat British Columbia Under-19s in the three T20 games before the scheduled 50-over game was washed out. <\/p>\n<p>A report and pictures about this series has appeared on Cricket Canada&#8217;s facebook, but some may be interested in the summary scores for the games played.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Canadian U19 international Miraj Patel (Alberta) was awarded the MVP award. His  45* in the opening T20 game carried Alberta to victory after BC U19s had been held to just 89\/5 from 20 overs.  Abdullah Hashim (Alberta) won the Best Batsman award.  He is credited with 47 runs in game 2 and followed with 46 in game 3. Assad Rehman&#8217;s (BC) 4\/13 from 3.3 overs in game 1 helped him pick up the Best Bowler award.<\/p>\n<p>Historical Background: Jack Kyle served cricket in British Columbia and at the national level with the Canadian Cricket Association for some 60 years before his death in June 2012.  His efforts to develop junior cricket saw him involved in annual cricket camps and in producing a development program for use across the country.
