The Eastern Canadian T20 championships take place July 22-24 at the Commons, Halifax, Nova Scotia. The hosts are the defending champions, and the competition features provincial teams from PEI, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Quebec. The tournament is being used by Cricket Canada to identify possible candidates for high performance training, and former national team star Henry Osinde will be present to assist in selecting qualified players. Three Level3 umpires (Rohan Shah, Bijal Patel & Amol Bhatt) from Toronto will officiate.
