{"id":9682,"date":"2016-09-12T06:47:43","date_gmt":"2016-09-12T10:17:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.canadacricket.com\/?p=9682"},"modified":"2016-09-12T06:47:43","modified_gmt":"2016-09-12T10:17:43","slug":"fort-mcmurray-granted-full-member-status-with-cricket-alberta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadacricket.com\/?p=9682","title":{"rendered":"Fort McMurray granted full member status with Cricket Alberta"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Robert Murray reports for Fort McMurray Today:-<br \/>\nThe Fort McMurray Cricket Club announced via their Facebook page Monday afternoon they had been granted full member status from Cricket Alberta.<br \/>\nAn associate member before, the club will now have access to logistical help from the provincial organization and the added ability to have their players selected to higher level competitions.<br \/>\n\u201cBy becoming a full member, we have voting rights now,\u201d said FMCC president Irfan Bangash. \u201cWe have a say in the decision-making process.\u201d<br \/>\nVotes for decisions at the provincial level are awarded based upon the number of teams in the local organization\u2019s league and the executive members.
