Didn't I mention in a post that the Fifth Estate is running a story about CC today on YT I think and Fri. on CBC? The trailer was not sympathetic.

I don't think CWI has been half hearted. I think they tried the original GT20 to see if there was fan interest to start a team in the CPL. There was not. This definitely sounds like a strategic plan. ie we'll see what transpires over several years. BTW Canada is the "sport's next great frontier?"

Devesh Shankar posting on FB the trailer for a 5th Estate episode about CC and it looks damning. Apr. 16 on YT and 17th on CBC.

There's no point whinging on about it I suppose but there are two women's tournaments coming up next week in Africa involving Africa national teams but one includes Brazil and the other includes the USA. I sure would like to see our ladies get some of these opportunities.
