cricket in 208 Olympics
According to reports, it's now all but certain cricket will be in the 2028 LA Olympics. Some uncertainty over number of teams but reports say will be six men/women based on rankings. I'm willing to bet they once again give "Team USA" a free pass and let them in, absurd as it is having this bunch pla...

Re: Cricket in the 2028 Olympics (Los Angeles)?
"the USA...will be among the first to take Olympic participation seriously."
Says who? Even as host country "Team USA" won't be in the event. USA Rugby hasn't
got much of a bounce having their sport in the Olympics. Will be good for some associates but
benefit to states/canucks yet to be seen.

Re: Candada cricket: Quo vadis?
CC commissioned this marketing study by CulturalIQ. The full report will
cost you $5K but from the table of contents crystal clear CC is SOLELY
focused on the expat community and maximizing its financial potential for cricket.
NOTHING about taking the game mainstream.

Says he/she's run into "no opposition." Sure will be if Canada wins the qualifier.

Re: Canada @ 2023 ICC Americas U19 Qualifier
The extreme disparity in North American cricket is totally the fault of the ICC! After years of "development" countries like Bahamas, Belize, Caymans, Panama, etc. still can't even field an U-19 mens or women's senior team! Argentina's been playing for decades and are still crap! What's that person ...

Re: Canada @ 2023 ICC Americas U19 Qualifier
It's a total condemnation of ICC's North American "development" office in Colorado Springs. It's done absolutely NOTHING to help, support, or provide guidance to building up cricket in the western hemisphere.  The office should be either shut down or bring in someone who's willing to ro...
