Didn't I mention in a post that the Fifth Estate is running a story about CC today on YT I think and Fri. on CBC? The trailer was not sympathetic.

It's all making sense now. Why does Cricket Canada drop a winning coach, drop the interim coach, parachute in players just prior to a major tournament, put in place a CEO with an "unbreakable" contract, and change captains ahead of another tournament ?
Now we have a pretty good idea: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/cricket- ... -9.7167081

How did we get here ? How does CC extract itself ? Of great worry, there are red flags for the new CC president. He should not be up for the post at the next AGM. But who is left to administer cricket that is not tainted by similar allegations of corruption and criminality ? ICC take-over is looking like the best of some bad options.

CC, but not the sport of cricket, is dropped from a promotional day. The Blue Jays use it to get new baseball fans.

^ The fallout from the last administration continues. Need to clear house. Unfortunately, the people that put them in in the first place are still running the provincial boards. How can anyone trust the judgement of any of the levels of administration ?

More stories on criminal activity related to CC:

What are ICC waiting for ? Any CC team or sanctioned event is at risk of fixing. The interim board are not treating the possibility of criminality and fixing as an urgent call to reform. If they are elected at the AGM, nothing will change.

I actually didn’t think the Fifth Estate piece was all that explosive actually. Overly dramatic.
