“Hamza T” played for MCL. Same guy? Tariq is playing in the Alberta HP comp.
The production values of the stream are low but it’s good they uploaded it and…there are sponsors!

Canada struggling mightily against the Danes. They need to figure it out pretty quickly. Their entire WC campaign could be derailed in the space of a couple of matches.
About half the team has been playing cricket consistently but not as a team and not against quality opposition. Thank goodness the Nepal series. They weren't fully prepared for this level of pressure. They'll have to adapt quickly.
Canada finish 219/8 thanks to bin Zafar and Movva. Big task ahead for Canada's bowlers. In the end Denmark held onto their wickets over much of the innings at the expense of run rate. Denmark end on 145 all out. A decent start for Canada's bowlers.
Spoors did not score well be did the important job of keeping his wicket while Kirton scored. Well done to bin Zafar. Movva has made the case to move up the order.
The next match is Singapore with huge implications for winning the league on the line. Canada will have to be much sharper against a stronger opponent.
Pleased to hear coach Dassanayake speak about preparation tours before tournaments and establishing a pathway for young players. Hope Cricket Canada will have the funding to support the team.

219/7. The lower middle order salvages it for them. A bit of a low score but should defend it. 48 for Kirton and 43 for Saad. If Saad can take a couple of wickets he’ll be MoM.

Bizarre weather in King City! The game on the north-east ground is delayed by rain and the game on the north-west ground is not

Singapore beat Qatar by 7 runs on Duckworth-Lewis. Rain interruptions are likely to play an ongoing part in this series. Batsmen will have to deal with start/stop play.
