The story says the ground was really not ready at the start of play “while Cricket Canada representatives scrambled to set up the venue according to tournament regulations”? Not a good impression to give to the cricket world. I mentioned in another post about the awful, unpredictable bounces (plural) at the Mississauga ground. I really don’t know anything about preparing a pitch, but surely it’s not that expensive?

^ I read the same account on Emerging Cricket website. Don't know how Cricket Canada could be so unprepared for the start of a tournament they have known they were hosting for over a year. Every time you think the admin is making steps in the right direction, they give cause to believe otherwise ...

22 extras for Canada is an awful lot isn’t it? Glad to see the captain Dhaliwal scoring big after not doing so in the last game. 49 needed off 17 overs. Should ease it home.

I really like Dhaliwal and Movva rotating the strike. Sensible cricket.

Does the Challenge League not have any sponsors? I mean independent of CC.

Good win for Canada. They take firm control over Challenge League A.

I was certainly hoping for more against Malaysia but they should defend 239. Thaker seemed unable to hit big near the end. Boundaries look hard to come by on that ground.

Seems Canada is wisely trying different players in this tournament. They stumbled a little but were not going to be pushed by Malaysia.
Please that Thaker stuck around to get only Canada's 2nd Fifty of the tournament. Surprised he didn't get a bowl.
Only Qatar remains as a potential banana peel this round.

I don’t understand Malaysia’s game plan. Why go for big shots and get out instead of occupying the crease?
