If Singh has to quarantine for a full two weeks, he'll miss at least 4 matches for Colombo Kings, at which point he'd be unlikely to displace anyone in the established line-up. Unlucky. I hope he gets another chance somewhere else.

On a related note, the ICC should clearly not try to restart cricket competition for the Associates until vaccines are widely available.

Edit: I'm obviously assuming Ravinderpal Singh does not experience any serious symptoms of COVID-19 which can not be a certainty. Even quarantining in a hotel far from home is not easy. Hope he recovers and is able to join his team at some point.

Abu Dhabi T10 is happening Jan. 28 - Feb. 6. I like the longer formats but maybe a couple of Canadians can get in there? Wasn't there a thing about players being paid and corruption last year? The draft is Dec. 23.

Ravinderpal Singh is in the Abu Dhabi T10 with the Bangla Tigers. I hope he hits some boundaries! He didn’t play in their 1st game.

Nitish Kumar gets a contract with Leeward Islands of the Cricket West Indies Super50.
He was in the squad for his side's first match and is doing well so far. Hopefully it is enough to keep him in the squad for the next match.

Edit:
Kumar topscores for Leward Is. (century) in his first match. I think he should be safe for the next game :)

Nicholas Kirton was not in the side for Barbados today. It is hard to get into the playing 11 when at least two players established internationals are there.

Kumar with 41. I saw Kirton dressed but he wasn’t in the XI.
