Well I found two guys in Australia club cricket.
Rommel Shahzad is/has played with Allansford- Panmure CC this Australian summer.
Harkaran Mann from Ont Cricket Academy was with Wangaratta and District Cricket Association Tigers A grade squad in 2022.

Matthew Nandu is picked to Guyana in the CWI 2024 4-Day championship. It is a positive that he is in the Guyana side and did not have to rely on being in the Windies Academy side.

Edit: Matthew has struggled in his 2nd year in the 4-Day championship. In 8 innings over 5 matches he has 122 runs at an average of ~15 runs as an opener. He was apparently injured for Guyana's 6th match.

I was surprised not to see Ethan Gibson's name in the release of the high performance groups. Several of his teammates from the 2022 U19 WC were on the list. It could be that he is unavailable due to involvement with St. Vincent and Grenadines. Shortly after he represented Canada at the youth world cup, he was playing in the SVG U19 trials : https://thevincentian.com/gibson-hits-c ... 26-139.htm
Then last year he was part of a Windward Islands apprenticeship program before returning to Canada to help the most recent group of U19s prepare for the Americas championship. So Gibson has a foot in both camps and stands to benefit from his experience in the West Indies. Maybe he'll yet be added to the HP program.

I changed the name of this thread to cover players in general as opposed to just professionals.
Anyway, it seems Nitish Kumar is playing for the South West Zone in the National T20 Championship in the US, which is a major selection competition for USA cricket's T20 national side. There was also a 50 over National Championship run last fall in which Kumar did not take part but he had probably not completed the required period since last playing for Canada in 2019.
Think he will have a tough time getting into and staying in the XI for USA but there could be a twelfth Canadian on the field in the Canada/USA WC match in June

So, it seems we can no longer count Nitish Kumar as an overseas Canadian ... but I will probably continue to think of him as such

It is interesting to speculate whether he would have remained with Canada had Covid-19 not happened. The Challenge League would have resumed in the summer of 2020 and with the expected Canada success, thoughts would turn to the final round of the CL and Qualifier Playoff. As things actually transpired, Kumar and the Canada team had the entire year 2020 and beyond away from international cricket to ponder their careers.
Thankfully Canada were able to regain ODI status even without Kumar's considerable ability. His switch to the USA opens the door to another Canadian.

I think Kumar was thinking of playing for USA so he could play ODIs and in the WC which the USA is co-hosting. It turns out Canada is there anyway.

He lived in Canada until he was 6. In England he joined the Worscestershire system at age 10. In the winter of 2022/23 he played overseas in the Pakistan junior league and in Australia.
Birthplace: Peterborough, Ontario
Age: 20
Club: Worcestershire CCC (2nd XI)
