It appears Saad bin Zafar played the 2022 season of the Kashmir Premier League with Muzaffarabad Tigers. He played 5 matches in the T20 tournament.

Terrific for him. I hope. Just do a quick search about the tournament and, of course, there are controversies and non-payment etc.

Nandu and Kirton not in the teams for the 3day games coming up in WI. Kirton only played two of the 4day games and then went with Canada. I wonder how he feels about not playing for Barbados and then being dropped by Canada?

The Weekes/Headley series is probably going to decide the best candidates for call-up to West Indies A. Nandu is just not ready for that level of cricket yet - maybe next year. Still too early to say whether he has a realistic shot at playing for West Indies senior team but a professional career playing domestic WI cricket is still possible.

As for Kirton, he was dropped by Barbados first before being dropped for the final pair of Canada games. The latter dropping seemed to be for adding to the bowling attack rather than his performance. I see his future professional career being tied to getting a contract with Canada. While it would be better for Nick and Canada for him to remain playing abroad, his list of failures with Barbados could spell the end for him as an "overseas pro".

Nandu posts a 36 at a strike rate of 28 as he top-scores for Team Headley in the 2nd innings. At least a couple of Nandu's class of WI U19s are in the West Indies Academy, the 3rd team in the Headley-Weekes tri-series. Will Matthew progress sufficiently to get a chance with the academy at some stage?

Nitish Kumar (LA Knight Riders), the only Canadian connection (?) with Major League Cricket, has struggled to date in its inaugural season. His stats are 2 matches, 2 innings, 2 ducks after facing 6 deliveries. Fortunately or unfortunately, his team is also badly under-performing.

The "Team USA" players in the league are doing crap as well. They
don't belong in the competition, which, by the way, isn't matching the hype.

continues as crap. Ali Khan, over-hyped USA bowler, gives up 61 in three overs.

Nitish Kumar's MLC debut season ends early after being dropped for his team's final match. He finishes with scores of 0, 0, 31, 9 in four innings, an average of exactly 10. With Kumar moving to the States to essentially become a full time pro cricketer, this is a disappointing result.
