Registration for player auction is May 18 to 23

Reserve prices for ICC Associates vary from $10K and $30K for Full Members between $22.5K and $70K. This time Canadians appear to be grouped with other Associates so they should make at least $10000 for the tournament.

Apparently the GT20 draft has begun. Very low profile compared to the glitzy presentations from India for the last two editions.

And for that matter, franchise renaming seems to be geared toward engaging locals from the Greater Toronto Area.
Mississauga Panthers apparently replace the reigning champion, Winnipeg Hawks. So that's now 3 locally-named teams (Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga). After the 2019 tournament, Surrey replaced Edmonton.

Have to wonder whether Matthew Nandu entered the draft.

Update: Former NT player, Cecil Pervez is no longer on list of Canadian draftees provided by CC. The list now shows six Canadians per team.

Looks like a Golden-Oldies league. Bravo, Gayle, du Plessis, McCullum
Coetzer all retired. Cheema should be in retirement. ;) ;)

In Canada, the tournament is to be available on "CBC" according to Facebook. I assume that means the free part of the CBC Gem streaming service. Hopefully, there will be more clarity as the start date approaches.

Took a look at the video of the ground. As rinky-dink as the pre-Covid
one.
