ICC's given team "USA" free pass and granting them automatic qualification to the 2024 T20 WC. Supposed they had
to since the States co-host the event but means some more deserving county's gonna
be excluded.

It would be weird if there was an Americas qualifier. Maybe Canada mixed in with Europeans like the USA women a few years ago? Also will Canada get quality games? The USA doesn’t have to play Canada.

According to ICC there WILL be an America's Qualifier with one team
advancing. If "Team USA" plays in, and wins, it have they then eliminated
Canada? Can an automatic qualifier also be a regional qualifier?

It’s reported that the ICC is stopping funding to USA cricket for now at least.

Where did you read that? According to Cricinfo reports ICC has just taken
control of 2024 WC away from USCricket until they get their house
in order. Report also says USCricket expecting ICC handout to get
them out of debt.

The Emerging Cricket podcast guys said that a number of players are going to become eligible for the USA in 2023. This is the thing they've been actively working towards for the past few years with overseas guys playing in MiLC. Qualifiers could be a different story from now on.

What a surprise! Just more proof (if we need any more) that the expats have hijacked cricket in the states...and have every intention of keeping it that way. :x :x
