A couple of new names which is always interesting. Harsh Thaker is there. Ray was wondering if there were some politics there. I feel bad for Nick Kirton. Maybe when the WI dream dies, he should move to Toronto to play there and get back in the milieu!

I hope the days off are reserve days. The only way Canada won’t advance is having to share points for abandoned games.

I would think they declined to play this tournament to pursue professional interests in the States but that is just speculation. It is strange there was no explanation of Kumar's absence in the Cricket Canada squad announcement.

throwing these make-believe cricket teams like Belize, Panama, Bahamas, Argentina,

I agree. A sub-qualifier would be a good process. And bring back Suriname.
