That’s right! 2026! Sub regional qualifier happening this week in Rome. The ICC says “Sub Regional Qualifiers will be held across other ICC regions later in 2024, with their respective regional finals also being held in 2025.”
I really hope there’s an Americas sub regional.

The Americas T20 qualifier for 2026 will not feature the already-qualified USA. Canada will again be favourites to take the Americas berth.

Canada will take on Bermuda, Cayman Islands and the Bahamas in the regional qualifier somewhere, under some kind of format, sometime in 2025.

No teams from Central or South America advanced.
Great, I guess, that Suriname were in the tournament. They finished last however.
Three umpires were Canadian.

Canada, Cayman Islands, Bahamas and Bermuda will compete for a single berth in the India/Sri Lanka WC tournament.

The Canada team is out for the Americas qualifier which is from June 15-21 at King City. Kirton is listed! Coached by Ingleton Liburd. The first and last games are Canada v. Bermuda. Hopefully by the last game nothing will be on the line. It's a double round robin.
