The job description seems the same. Either the hire was never made in spring 2018 or that position has been vacated. Certainly, the management of the website and social media aspect of the job was not being executed effectively. CC definitely need to find a way to get cricket into the public eye if they want to meet their goals (keeping GT20 running, new sponsorship, professional cricket, national stadium).

The applicant has to answer to half a dozen different people (CC,
sponsors, government, outside event organizers, etc) and is essentially being asked
to sell cricket to mainstream Canucks even though there's no
job requirement that the applicant know how to do this. My prediction:
if the position's actually filled the person who gets it either won't stay long or
won't accomplish anything.

Certified L2 cricket coach

Understanding of best practice junior development strategies
Passionate, positive and energetic
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to make presentation to groups and influence change
Advanced IT skills across major Microsoft Office and Google programs, email and internet
Adaptable to change, self-driven and results-oriented
Proven success in:
-Delivering entry-level schools, junior, youth cricket programs
-Educating teachers and volunteers
-Organising tournaments and events
-Sales and relationship management

I was just going to post this myself! My favourite qualification is the candidate must be a level 2 cricket coach. However, CC doesn't offer any coaching training!

Just last year CC told me Kulbir, from Vancouver and an Australia trained level 3 coach, would not be able to deliver a coaching accreditation course. Maybe now?

Would like to know how the delivery of school programs is done.
Does the program have a single visit to a school per year or do they return multiple times?
Is it the same for all schools (entry-level introduction to cricket) or do they vary the demonstrations with the level of cricket competency (probably schools serving areas with high immigration)?
Is there any evidence of cricket uptake outside South-Asian/West-Indian communities? If not, should limited resources be focused on schools/regions where cricket is known?
