I don't see why they're having two three-day games. I think a two-day format can be useful for technique. They could have three two-day games in the same time. I don't think they'll last three days.
I'd like to see the senior women play 50 over games.
I'd like the u19 women to get more than four days play. I wonder if regional high performance might be cheap to do?

Did you guys know there’s a CC u19 Trials - West going on? I see a youtube scorecard of Canada v Bahamas has a score of Prairie u19 def. BC u19 by 36 runs.

I have to start actually looking at the CC website again. They had the Western u19 scorecards! There was no Alberta team so it was BC v Prairies. BC won two out of three. It was in Surrey played on turf.

The WI is starting an initiative called La Federacion de Criquet de las Americas. Notice the spanish :D They say North, Central and South America but the article focuses on South America. Maybe a rising tide will lift all boats? See the article on cricinfo.

(Yawn) Yet another grand "development" scheme! Check back in a couple of
years and lets see what they've actually done...which, if past schemes
are any indication, will be very little. ;) ;)

It’s summer in Toronto. I haven’t heard anything about Canada A or Emerging tours, or the best v the best…
For 2025, Canada, Canada A and Canada Emerging play a series of matches amongst themselves and the touring Namibia squad ahead of the Canada/Namibia/Scotland League 2 tri-series.

According to the Argentina Cricket FB and a page called Associate Chronicles
"With a 🇨🇦 Canadian cricket club touring Argentina 🇦🇷, they also jointly held a coaching session with Argentina Cricket."
Nice gig.

I received, unsolicited, an email about the ICC having a Training and Education Learning Management System. I’m to download an app and login and ‘’ If you need any assistance, get in touch with the governing body of cricket in your country’’. I thought ‘’What the hell good would that do?’’
