ESPN reposts England star batter Harry Brooks has signed on to become
MLB's Europe Ambassador. Will have a MLB logo on his cricket bat! They've
also signed England women's player Issy Wong for the same. And cricket?
What are
THEY doing to promote their game in North America?

MLB, as a tie in to their upcoming London games, has talked the mayor
of London into giving 250K pounds of taxpayer money to British Baseball
association to promote
baseball in all London primary schools. Supposed to reach 36,000 kids.
Meantime, ICC doing
NOTHING in USA as 2023 WC approaches....

They're not doing "nothing" for USA cricket. They got them ODI status.

"They got them ODI status."
Most Americans would confuse that for DUI.

A few years ago a Canada player, I forget who (no really) seemed to think that Canada getting ODI status would make people recognize them in the street! I thought, and commented here somewhere, that nobody gives a rat’s patoot about ODI status or knows what that is or knows that a tournament is going on. Maybe if the USA makes the WC (no chance).

See Major League Rugby's just announced a big, ambitious, program
to bring their game to North American schools. Meanwhile, the poor, meek, little
orphan of sports does....
NOTHING!!
