I don’t think ‘nice’ is the word. I think ‘good’ or ‘obviously’ are better. He’ll take wickets and score runs. For Thaker to miss there must be a good reason although I don’t think it’s a huge loss.
Canada smoked Nepal.

I haven’t read it but a headline in the Guardian
‘T20 World Cup. Tournament is about to start - has anyone in Dallas noticed?’
Maybe they’re not ‘excited’ about the Canada- USA matchup

^ This T20 WC in the USA is too early. To judge the potential for a wider following for cricket in the States it will take a few Olympic cycles. I don't see it myself and Olympic participation hasn't made rugby or volleyball headline sports in the U.S. but it will take time to make an assessment. Until then the ICC will continue to give extra help to one Associate whether there is a return on the investment or not.

Some very good strike rates from Canada and they’re scoring off almost every ball. It’s a good sized crowd. Will Kirton be selected for the Barbados team again? I won’t give the score away yet!

It seems the captain and keeper got a good talking to from the umpire about over appealing. I don’t have sound though.

Good total for Canada with 4 of the top 5 posting good scores. However, on the bowling end our key players only took a handful of wickets at the expense of some very high economy rates. An easy victory for the Americans on the debut for both teams in the tournament.

Cricinfo lists the prize money. The lowest eight teams get $225000 obviously USD. I always wonder how they split that.
