Scotland 211/6 and Canada 170/4 then abandoned for rain. DLS?
Also I see on FB from Wayne Fleming that Canada won a game by 91 runs.

A game is on the Scotland Cricket youtube. It looks like two Scotland players are fielding for Canada. Bowling in fact!

Re: Canada @ 2024-6 CWC League 2
After a fighting loss to higher ranked Scotland, Canada have fallen meekly to UAE. Again they failed they failed to bowl out an opponent and most of their batting collapsed without resistance. The result is unacceptable.
Canada's continued presence in the Associate top tier rests with new selection committee somehow finding a competitive team for the Playoff Qualifier, probably to be played January 2027. It is hardly any time to work with.

Re: Canada @ 2024-6 CWC League 2
It is now a familiar story with Canada's opening bowlers restricting the opponent early only to see a major reversal as the other bowlers take the ball. At the end of the opponents innings, Canada has not taken enough wickets and the score has gotten out of hand. In response Canada openers are capable of putting up a good score but as soon as one of them is lost there is a middle order collapse. It is sad to see this script repeated so often.

I'm actually looking forward to the next qualifier with Canada, Namibia, Nepal, UAE, Jersey, Italy, Uganda and Kuwait (maybe Hong Kong?). Some sort of exhibition games leading up to it will be good.
