Thank you Mr. Liverman for keeping the site going for so long. I have really appreciated the chance to contribute to the discussion of Canadian cricket and even post an article or two. Best wishes for your future endeavors, inside and outside cricket and I hope you will still visit now and again.

January 19th, 2022: New postings appearing on Canada Cricket Online for the first time in 4 months. Great to see. I was getting worried.

I'm shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Liverman, former editor/administrator of this site.

His contributions to cricket in Canada are greatly appreciated. I'm particularly thankful for his work to maintain Canada Cricket Online, an independent voice of Canadian cricket, a sport with a limited profile.

David was always accommodating and helpful in my limited interactions with him - particularly so in his efforts to re-establish this discussion forum, though he knew there only a few users. A great loss.

The Canada Cricket Online main site is currently down for the 2nd time in less than a month. The forum is likely to follow soon. It seems the site is vulnerable to malicious code which is filling up the available server space. I'll see what I can do but if this goes offline permanently, I hope we all got something out of Canada Cricket Online (in its various forms) over 25 years. Thank you to the succession of administrators for keeping this going as long as it has. And thank you for reading.

May Canadian cricket, the domestic game as well as the international, see better days ahead.
