We are deeply saddened by the news that former Editor-in-Chief of Canada Cricket Online, Cricket Canada executive and board member, and former Cricket Newfoundland executive, board member and coach, David Liverman, has passed away after a valiant fight against cancer.

David was a tireless supporter of Canadian Cricket and held a variety of meaningful roles within the sport both nationally and provincially.

Away from cricket, he was a former professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN), and a Deputy Minister of Mining for the province.
