Sports Trends interviewed leaders of Cricket Ontario and several of its leagues regarding the 2020 coronavirus-affected season.
Leaders of Toronto & District Cricket Association, Brampton-Etobicoke & District Cricket League, Hamilton & District Cricket League, Ottawa Valley Cricket Council, Scarborough Cricket Association, Mississauga Cricket League were featured.

Major points:
* All the leagues are in the same boat waiting for ground permits from the various municipalities before they know how much of a cricket season can be played.
* Those leagues that have collected playing fees will refund the clubs based on the length of season that is possible or credit them for 2021 season.
* GT20 2020 tournament is in a similar situation and must wait to see when/if they are given permission to access the field. City of Brampton was planning to start setting up the temporary stadium early but this is now on hold.
* BEDCL was planning to introduce leagues for youth, women and seniors for 2020 season.
* MCL was planning to add 50 over league
