Ontario West U17 opening bat and captain Ravi Sandhu struck 70* to lead his team to the Ontario U17 Regional title on Friday (July 28, 2017) at Centennial Park, Etobicoke against Ontario North U17. Ontario North U17 fell all out for 105 after 39.2 overs. Ontario West replied with 106/6 after 35.4 overs. An unbroken seventh wicket stand of 52 between Ravi Sandhu and Harman Singh Bedi (14*) steered their West team home after the innings had stumbled to 54 for 6 wickets.

South U17s made 170 all out from 49.3 overs then dismissed East U17 for 74 (29.2 overs) to win the third-place playoff game.
