U19s beat Vanuatu

The Canada U19 team had an easy win over Vanuatu in their third match of the global Under 19 qualifier. Canada (1-1) needed a win against the surprise tournament qualifiers to keep their qualification hopes alive. Vanuatu struggled against the Canadian bowling and managed 144 all out from 45.5 overs. Aulakh took 3 wickets, conceding just 11 runs from 7.5 overs, and Juvarajan also took three wickets. In reply Canada have raced to to a 9 wicket win, Kumar contributing 61 from 48 balls. Their net run rate was helped by reaching the target in just 25.1 overs. Canada currently lie 2nd in the points table, one of six teams with two wins and one loss. They play 1st place team Namibia tomorrow in a crucial match
