Brampton Masters beat the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club in the elite final in somewhat controversial circumstances. TCSCC were bowled out 198, and BMCC were 130/5 in 33 overs, needing another 69 to win with five wickets in hand when the game was halted for bad light at 6:15 pm – a decision that not all present agreed with. Brampton were ahead based on Duckworth-Lewis calculations and were declared champions. We hope to cover the game in more detail in a future article.
