Cricket Canada national selection panel has named the Canada squad for the ICC WCL Division 3, Uganda from 21st – 31st May. The full squad is:
Nitish Kumar – Captain, Bhavindu Adhihetty, Cecil Pervez, Dhanuka Pathirana, Durand Soraine, Hamza Tariq, Jimmy Hansra, Junaid Siddiqui, Mark Montfort, Navneet Dhaliwal, Nikhil Dutta, Rizwan Cheema, Saad Zafar and Satsimranjit Dhindsa
Reserves: Srimanta Wijeyeratne and Varun Sehdev

Management
Henry Osinde – Coach; Daulat Khan – Asst. Coach; Ingleton Liburd – Manager

Comment: Long time national team player Ravindu Gunasekera, who has been playing first-class cricket in Sri Lanka this winter is absent from the squad- he has stated he wants to try and represent Sri Lanka in the future. Most of the other names are familiar. Dhanuka Pathirana is a 34 year old who has played 85 first class matches in Sri Lanka with five centuries. Bhavindu Adhihetty is just 17 years old, with little senior experience, but did represent Canada at the U19 World Cup.
