NS Kids Cricket

Some great grassroots development projects are under way in the east of Canada. The Nova Scotia Cricket Association’s Facebook page features the Nova Scotia Cricket Association’s Kids Program – Introduction to Cricket in collaboration with Cricket Canada KIDS, Cricket Canada’s Zubin Surkari and the Halifax Regional School Board excel program at the J.W. MacLeod Fleming Tower School.
Cricket Newfoundland and Labrador launched their summer junior programme this week, building on the success of their indoor work in schools. They held open registration, and played some cricket in typical Newfoundland spring weather- 6 degrees and a fierce wind!
