TDSB Outdoor Girls Cricket 2016-2017
York Memorial (44) beat West Humber (41) in last year’s TDSB High School Girls West Region final and met North Region champions Emery CI in the Toronto City Final. Emery CI had beaten George S. Henry Academy in the North Region final.
Emery scored 48/9 from 10 overs in the City Final against York Memorial, who struggled to make runs off the bat, except for two ball that were hit for six. York Memorial ended on 33/5 after 10 overs, giving Emery championship by 15 runs. It was, I believe, the inaugural TDSB Girls High School outdoor cricket championship.
