Although the official Cricket Canada web site is dominated by the Global T20, and seems to be still under construction, with the U19 section containing just profiels of two former U19 player, the St. Vincent’s and Grenada Cricket Association web site provides the information that the Canadian U19s will be playing in the regional one-day tournament later this month.
“The Windies youth championship comprises two formats, the first being 3 rounds of 3-day cricket, which will then be followed by the 1-day competition. The six regional territories (Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and Windward Islands) will compete in the first format, while the Canadian under 19 team will join the competition for the 2nd half of the tournament.”
