The Canadian Under 19 squad beat Argentina by 9 wickets today to go 3-0 in the ICC Americas Division 1 U19 tournament. So far they’ve only lost 5 wickets in three matches in a dominant performance. No Argentinean reached double figures as they mustered just 38 in 27.2 overs. Six Canadian bowlers took wickets, led by Manoosingh with three. Canada took just 7.5 overs to reach the total, with only a run-out slowing progress.
The USA have also continued unbeaten with a 10 wicket win over the Caymans. Canada play Caymans on February 11 and their final match against the USA in the 12th will almost certainly be for the tournament championship.
