Global T20 Has Ambitions to be ‘Bigger & Better’ in Second Year

As the Canadian national team toils in Namibia, facing the spectre of being one of two failing to qualify from a six team tournament, plans for the 2019 Global T20 continue.
Devadyuti Das talks to Global T20 boss Gurmeet Singh for CricketNext:-
““The aim of starting this league was to tap into the Asian market in Canada, who are crazy about the game of cricket. The focus was on the development of the Canadian boys although it was not mandatory to have a minimum number of Canadian players.”
Later in the article there are hints of a move from king City, possibly to the Toronto Cricket, Skaking and Curling Club..
“After the success of last year, the owners want the tournament to be bigger in the new season, shifting to a more central location with the help of the Canadian government.”
