Following the suspension of three Hong Kong players earlier this year, the cpatain of the UAE team and two other UAE players have been suspended after being charged with a range of breaches of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code. It is believed that the charges relate in part to the upcoming WC T20 qualifier. One hopes that Cricket Canada remains vigilant, and is providing players with proper training and education; Canadian players have certainly been approached in the past.
