PEI leads return to cricket in Canada

Cricket has resumed in Canada, with PEI being the first province to allow match play to return. PEI has no active COVID-19, with a total of 27, all now recovered. The Cricket PEI Facebook page has the following news:-
“Through extreme hard work and dedication of our board members and the Stratford Townhall cooperation, we started the “Sarath Chandrasekere PEI League 2020″ from 4th of June.We are amazed by the eagerness to play from the Cricket lovers.
Our Best Wished to all the Teams, and please stay safe & follow the provincial guidelines.
Opening Match ACC won by 7 wickets. Batting first PEI Tuskers made 113/10 on 17.1 overs. ACC made 114/3 on 12.5 Overs.
Parth Patel Made 63 from 41 Balls and Priyam Soni took 4 wickets for ACC ”

The PEI League has grown to six teams from four last year.
