The first part of the mission is almost complete. The hard work, though, is about to begin. Canada is on the brink of advancing to the qualifying playoffs for the ICC World Twenty20s but the outlook in sun drenched Dubai may get very gloomy, very quickly. ….The climb is about to get much steeper. The Canadians, having lost heavily to both Afghanistan and the Netherlands, may well find themselves facing Ireland in a crossover eliminator on Thursday. Canada would need a titanic effort with both and ball to upset the Irish in Dubai.
