In the T20 final of Cricket Canada’s inaugural National Cricket League the Prairie Fire reached 1 run for the loss of no wickets (0.3 overs) against the Western Stallions when persistent rain drove the players off the field at Maple Leaf Cricket Club. The one run was a wide delivered by Khurram Chohan. Play took place on the north-east pitch. Canadian international opening bat Hiral Patel faced all the deliveries bowled in this innings.

The south-east pitch was assigned to the T20 playoff for third place between the Eastern Fury and Central Shield but this game did not commence.
