Canada made 227 for 8 from 50 overs, led by Gunasekera (72), and Raza-ur-Rehman (70). Canada made a good recovery after losing two earlier wickets. They were 223/4 with two overs to go but a flurry of wickets at the end left them 8 down. Gunasekera hit three fours and three sixes and Elijah Otieno took four wickets. In reply Kenya had little trouble reaching the target in a well paced innings, Karim top-scoring with 65. They won by 6 wickets with 2.3 overs to spare.
