Players from Ghaznavi, Mississauga’s cricket club, celebrated the fruits of previous seasons with a gala at Erin Meadows Community Centre last night. All eight teams were in attendance with family and friends for a dinner and awards show.
“The bigger thing is that we’re celebrating the game, but a smaller thing is that we’re celebrating the performances we had in the last two years,” said Nabeel Mirza, a player and club co-founder.
