Young cricketers from Toronto’s North Albion and York Memorial school teams will be representing the city in a GTA-wide tournament this weekend for a sport that’s garnering more interest than ever.
For the very first time since the CIMA Mayor’s School Cricket Tournament launched in Toronto three years ago, schools from Mississauga, Brampton and Markham will now finally get a shot at winning the CIBC Trophy, and of course, the bragging rights that come with it.
