Newfoundland indoor all-star match

Grass-roots cricket in Canada continues to find ways to beat the Canadian winter weather. While Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec are playing snow cricket, indoor leagues continue across the country. In Newfoundland the middle of the winter season was celebrated with an all-star tapeball game, played in the Provincial Training centre gym, a space large enough to allow 11/ side cricket. A President’s XI beat a team composed of a combination of the teams that contested the Fall League final. The President’s XI won by 9 wickets, thanks to a stunning 30 ball century from provincial team member Kavish Srivastava
