Halifax T20 peaks today

The semi-final of the 2014 Halifax Cricket League (Nova Scotia) T20 championship is due to be played at high noon (12pm) today (Saturday September 13) at the Halifax Commons ground between Halifax Red (Won 4, Lost 2, Points 8) and Halifax Blue (W 2, L 4, Pts 4). The winning team will then face Halifax Gold (W 6, L 0, Pts 12) in the final to be played later in the afternoon. Halifax Green missed this year’s playoffs as a result of losing all six T20 regular season matches and ended in fourth place in the standings. Play continues in the one-day Halifax Cricket League during the remainder of September with the semi-final between the second and third-placed teams from the regular season standing set for Saturday, October 11, 2014. The semi-final winner will meet the top team from the regular season standings in the Final on Sunday October 12, 2014. So if the weather cooperates today, one team will have climbed the peak to claim the 2014 Halifax Cricket League T20 Championship.
