Camp presents opportunity for young cricketers

There is a huge incentive for five young Canadians selected to attend a one-week International Cricket Council (ICC) high performance camp in Barbados from December 14-21. Of the 13 camp participants that also include four Bermudans and three Americans, six of them will be offered rookie contracts to take part in next year’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL) competition”
Fanfair indicates participants will include national team batsman, Nitish Kumar, Ontario Cricket Academy all-rounder Nikhil Dhutta, 23-year-old Mississauga Ramblers medium-pacer Satsimranjit Dhindsa, Calgary-based left-arm spinner Farhan Malik and United Cricket Academy 15-year-old middle-order batsman, Arslan Khan.
