Future of Canadian Cricket at Premier League Trial

Six cricketers from the Americas region, including four Canadians (three from Toronto), have earned the right to be part of a Carribean Premier League (CPL) training camp, where players will train with a franchise team. Toronto’s off-spinning all-rounder Nikhil Dutta, 20… was one of the Canadian’s to win a spot in the CPL trial.
“ I’m really excited to be part of this,” he said. “To have the opportunity now to work hard and learn from other teams and their experienced players. It’s going to be a great experience learning about different conditions and adjusting my game.”
