Canada beat the West Indies HPC squad by three wickets after dismissing them for just 118. Cheema (captaining as Bagai took a break) led the bowlers with 4/20 from 7 overs. In reply Canada slumped to 66/6, struggling against the genuinely fast bowling of Shannon Gabriel and the accuracy of Holder (10-6-9-3). They lost four wickets without scoring a run as the game swung dramatically back towards the West Indies squad. Hansra and Tariq steadied the ship, but the game was still very close when the 7th wicket fell on 87. A big six from Hansra relieved the pressure, and Canada won in the 49th over. Hansra was the hero, with 30*
Yesterday WI HPC beat Bermuda by 19 runs in a game shortened to 30 overs/ side.
