East Under-16’s bowled out South Under-16’s to win Wednesday’s (July 8, 2015) Final of the Cricket Council of Ontario’s Under-16 championship on the west ground at Centennial Park, Etobicoke, Ontario. A report about the tournament final and the outcome of the playoff game to decide third place between West and North will follow in due course, including news of the various individual award winners.

Two Ontario Under-16 teams are to be selected for the upcoming Cricket Canada Under-16 Championship in Manitoba. The availability of the Ontario players to participate in the national tournament will be confirmed by parents of initially selected players before the Cricket Council of Ontario teams are officially announced. News of the Ontario squads is expected to be available within the next two weeks. (EN)
