The MCC played a Victoria Cricket Association President’s XI at Beacon Hill Park, Victoria. Lunch was taken early due to rain but play continued as the weather improved. MCC made 200 for 7 wkts in 38 overs, Wright 62 and Smallwood 25 making a good third wicket stand.
The BC/VDCA XI were set 217 in 36 overs after the Duckworth/Lewis calculations were done, and made 189/7.
