Warriors 132/8 from 20 overs. Kalsi took 3/26 from the more conventional 4 overs in a T20 game. Taj Singh hit an unbeaten 57 and Abbas Shah 25 not out as Knight Riders reached a winning 136/4 after 19.2 overs. Earlier on Saturday, Saskatoon Warriors had bowled out Jaguars for 129 (17.4 overs) and won the quarterfinal game in Saskatoon. K. Hussan hit 62 for the Jaguars.

Stallions beat Royals by three wickets from the last ball of the Regina quarter-final on Saturday. A. Prasala top-scored in Royals 139/6 (20 overs) then S.P. Singh contributed 56 not out as Stallions reached 142/7 from the last ball of the available 20 overs. Stallions must have won the Regina semi-final on Saturday afternoon against Regina Super Kings, although the game scorecard is not yet available on the CricHQ website.

But clearly most of the scoring details have been posted on CricHQ from this weekend’s Saskatchewan Cricket Association playoffs. Sorting out the team for an afternoon game following a morning win, as well as the extra logistics of picking up clothing as well as ensuring all are moving to Sunday’s final will have been the priorities for Saturday’s winning teams.

The semi-finals of the Saskatchewan Cricket Association’s one-day championship are due to be played this coming Saturday (September 20). T20 champions Saskatoon Knight Riders take on Cavaliers at Douglas Park with Saskatoon Stars due to meet Regina Royals at South Park Centre. (EN)
